How to install an eSIM on iPhone
Four settings screens, about a minute, best done at home on Wi-Fi.

Before you start
You need an iPhone XS or newer, carrier-unlocked, on iOS 17 or later, plus a Wi-Fi connection. Dial *#06# — if an EID appears, your phone can take an eSIM.
Scan the QR code
Open Settings, tap Cellular, then Add eSIM, then Use QR Code. Point the camera at the code on your order page. If you are reading this on the same phone, tap Enter Details Manually and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code instead.
Label the line
iOS asks what to call the new plan. Name it Flypass so it is obvious which line is which later. Keep your home line as the default for calls and messages, and leave the new line for data only for now.
On arrival
Set the Flypass line as Cellular Data, and turn Data Roaming on for that line — it is how the local network is reached and it is included in what you paid. If nothing connects after a few minutes, toggle airplane mode once.
The short answer
Settings, Cellular, Add eSIM, scan, label it Flypass. Install at home, switch it on when you land.
